Mr. Rodney Sammy-Guilarte Staff Sergeant (Airborne), United States Marine Corps NRA Certified Firearms Instructor, Weapons and Tactics Instructor, Close Protection Agent. As Team Chief he was responsible for the training, equipping and conduct of Marines during combat operations in direct support of US Army Special Forces, and Navy Special Operations. He also was a combat trainer in preparing his team for the rigors of combat and deployment, as well as managing the logistics. He was a part of a special purpose (airborne unit) that was embedded with army special forces and navy special operations as a force-multiplier, for the Military and State Department operations. He and his team were in direct support of State Department operations and facilitated physical security Iraq. After his war time experiences, he entered the private security industry, conducting Close Protection Operations throughout Europe, Africa, Asia, Latin America, the Middle East, to include Conflict Zone protection operations in the Ukraine and Ivory Coast, as well prisoner extradition operations. In 2013 Rodney Sammy-Guilarte entered the world of training and consultancy. He became a certified NRA Instructor in Pistol, Rifle, Shotgun, Home Defense, Concealed Carry, Range Safety Officer and Chief Range Safety Officer. Upon completion of all NRA certifications, he continued this process under the tutelage and mentorship of Frank Garcia at the Universal Shooting Academy where he was certified in High Performance Tactical Instructor in Pistol, Carbine and Shotgun, as well as 3-gun competitive shooting. As an instructor he has trained many Civilians in Everyday Carry, Home Defense and Combative and Firearms Dynamics; as well Military, Government and Law Enforcement in urban operations, Urban Warfare, Counter-Terror High Threat Concealed Carry, Convoy Operations, and High Threat Security Operations. He has a BSc in InterDisciplinary Studies (Intelligence Analysis, Business Leadership), from Liberty University, Virginia USA, formerly lived in Central Florida since the mid-90s. He currently resides in Trinidad and Tobago and is an integral part of the Praetorian Team. Mr. Rodney Sammy-Guilarte currently holds the position of Chief Operating Officer (COO).
